Choosing your wedding favors is crucial. One of the ways to make it work is to follow simple ideas. It should reflect your personal style. Wedding favors in a way represent you. You may want to create a theme to make it more "together". Is it a summer wedding? Do you like certain colors, certain flowers, are you fond of soaps, dancing, candles etc... A rose made of soap can be a great idea. It is functional, fun and rewarding. After the wedding, guest can soak in the tub and enjoy a spa treat to end a magical day.
Make it functional, fun and memorable. Favors are symbolic as well. The common theme is a symbol of abundance, prosperity and fertility. Remember the rice ceremony throwing way back then?

Favors are about $1.50-$3.00. It can be more or less. The idea is to spend what you can afford. Favors can be made to look expensive and elegant under budget. Remember to make it fun, functional and memorable. Make it appealing to you and your guests.

Presentation is very important. There are several packaging ideas to choose from. You may want boxes, tulle, cellophane etc. Try to find one that suits your style. Personalization add a positive overall look to your wedding favor. The labels or tags can be kept in a scrapbook as a remembrance.
When and Where to distribute the wedding favors.
The most popular way to give out wedding favors is by displaying it on each place setting. You may want to attach a place card to a flower or a similar wedding favor. This will serve as a place setting and a favor in one. It is simple and elegant as well. You can place the wedding favor in between place setting if you are planning to give one favor per couple. Some create wedding centerpieces out of the wedding favors. Another way to distribute your wedding favors is while you are greeting your guests from table to table. If this is too much for you, you might want your family or bridesmaid to help you.
