With the introduction of the Wedding Gift Registers, choosing a gift for the happy couple has been made very easy.
The bridal couple go into a store that will hold the register. They then make a list of items they would like as wedding presents.
The wedding guests can then select a gift for them from this list. By doing this there is no risk of doubling up with toasters, frypans etc etc.
Now if you were a guest you wouldn't even have to go into the store as most of these stores have a gift wrapping, card writing and delivery service attached to their Wedding Gift Register Department.
So many couples have most things before they get married these days, the house, the furniture, the electrical appliances, linen, china. They have their house decorated in a particular style and by choosing to use a wedding gift register store for their guests to take advantage of, there is little chance of having a miss-mash of styles and colors.
Years back there were no wedding planners, no wedding gift registers, the wedding was planned by the bride and her mother usually, the father paid for it.
Today we are much better organized. We do have wedding planners, if not the person, then there are many very good books to help.
A bride and groom can even have their own wedding web site to let people know how the planning is going. This is mainly for family and very close friends who are living in a different area.
There is a lot to planning a wedding and the more help a bride can get the better prepared she is on the day and the stress level is minimal.
So the Wedding Gift Register is another great way to help with planning a wedding.
